Guitar Pedal Designs
Custom-made guitar electronics, designed and soldered by yours truly
Guitar has been a passion of mine for years, as well as electronics and soldering. When I found out about the existence of guitar pedals - small metal boxes that modify the sound of your instrument- I opted to learn how to make them myself. Over the years, I’ve made dozens of different designs using different circuits. I source the electronic components myself, I solder the components myself, I design the enclosures myself, and I assemble the pedals myself. All for my own personal use as a musician.

“Ellipses” (Phaser)
Multistep phaser based on the Earthquaker Devices “Grand Orbiter” phaser pedal.
“Green Machine” (Fuzz)
Fuzz combining the circuits of the Zvex “Woolly Mammoth” and “Mastotron” together. Includes a small audio transformer for extra gain.
“Module” (Multi-Effect)
Digital multi-effect pedal with 8 different effect types to choose from, utilizing the FV-1 digital effects chip.
“Opticon” (Compressor)
Optical compressor based on the Earthquaker Devices “Warden” pedal. Artwork inspired by the abandoned “Presidio Modelo” panopticon prison complex in Cuba.
